Adams + Russell offer a bespoke training programme free of charge to our commercial customers.
Our aim is to invoke passion into the coffee making process with meticulous detail, so our customers feel confident and enjoy working behind a machine.
Training sessions are carried out in-situ so you can be trained on the machine you would normally use, or at Adams + Russell in our education room.
TRAINING SESSION OVERVIEW
EQUIPMENT + SET UP
Ensuring the machine and grinder are correctly calibrated and you have all the necessary barista and cleaning equipment.
MENU
Creating a SCA standard coffee menu to suit your establishment and recommend cup sizes and coffee presentation.
EXTRACTION
Exploring what variables result in great tasting espresso and how extraction can be maintained to a high standard.
MILK TECHNIQUE
Helping you achieve smooth, silky flat white milk consistently within SCA standards and at the correct temperature. This will also include a basic introduction to latte art.
CLEANING + MAINTENANCE
An overview of a typical cleaning procedure for a coffee machine creating a universal plan that all staff can adhere to.

Making coffee should always be enjoyable, our training sessions are designed so all staff members become enthusiastic about coffee and have fun whilst learning.
